An Interview with Meretz Chairpeacenik Zehava Galon

By Steven Plaut

Good morning, Madame Chairperson, I would like to ask you about your thoughts on the events in Brussels this week.

Just call me Zehava, young man.  Always glad to speak with representatives of the progressive Meretz-voting fourth estate.  Clearly it was all the fault of Bibi Netanyahu, now what was the question again?

Madame Zehava, you have always claimed that Israel is the target of terrorism because it is an occupier, but Belgium is not occupying anything and in fact was twice occupied in the 20th century.

What kind of reactionary comment is that?  What are you, young man, some sort of settler?  A planted mole from Ad Kan?

I live in Ramat Aviv.  But speaking of settlers, Belgium does not have any settlements anywhere, so why was it the victim?

I do not make judgments and one woman's terrorist is another woman's victim.  But why are you asking me all these Kahanist questions?

Madame Zehava, Israel has a military conflict with the Arab world, but Belgium does not have a military conflict with anyone.  It does not participate in Allied actions against ISIS in Syria and elsewhere.  In fact, it barely has a military.

Call security, someone let in this reactionary who is inciting against me and suppressing my freedom of speech!

Madame Zehava, you have always insisted that the only way for Israel to make peace is to be nice.   Well, the Belgians were nice and even turned over much of Brussels to Islamists.

Did Im Tirtzu put you up to this?  Take your baseball hat off, I want to see if you have a yarmulka hiding under it!

Madame Zehava, Brussels is the capital of the EU and the symbol of transcendence of narrow nation-state identity, which is what you have long advocated for Israel.

Beast, inciter, you are endangering my life!  What is it with you, don't you read Haaretz?

Madame Zehava, Belgium is the ultimate state for two ethnic groups living side by side in tranquility!  Like in the Meretz vision for Israel.  Why was it targeted?

Ok, your time is up, I have a luncheon engagement at the Shenkin Shenkin House of White Meat.  Where is my damn bodyguard?

2.  An Open Letter to the Belgian Prime Minister from Shimon Peres

Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
My heartfelt sympathies to you and the Belgian people for the acts of protest carried out in Brussels this week. This really is a wake-up call for us all.
You and I must really speak about how to deal with the atrocities and protests, including the attacks on Brussels, by these misunderstood activists.
Mister Prime Minister, I have a great deal of experience in dealing successfully with terrorism and this is why I wish to come to your assistance.
The first thing you must realize is that one can only make peace with one's enemies. With one's friends there is no need to make peace. There is no military solution to the problems of terrorism, and this is why you must seek a diplomatic solution. "No Justice, No Peace," as they say.
You must invite the leaders of this activist organization to the Belgian Parliament and perhaps tour the EU district. You must learn to feel their pain and understand their needs. You must offer to turn parts of Flanders over to them so that stateless Muslims can have their own state. I have no doubt the Muslim world will applaud your efforts.
You must meet the demands of the protesters in full. In addition, you must offer them Internet services and five-star tourist hotels in exchange for their promising to abandon violence. After all, that is how we in Israel, under my leadership, turned Yasir Arafat into a peace partner!
You see, military force serves no role any more. It is passé. It is archaic. Today, economic interests dominate the world and the Islamist activists of the earth will surely make peace in exchange for some profits from participating in global trade.
The fact is, you have been insufficiently sensitive in understanding the needs of Muslims. You took fundamentalist rhetoric at face value, whereas we in Israel know all this talk is empty and these people simply want peace.
Sure, Muslim fundamentalists praise Hitler and celebrate atrocities, but what is it that they REALLY want? How about sitting down with them in an effort to understand them?
You have been trying to rule over others and failed to be sensitive to their needs and aspirations. You must put your own house in order and eliminate inequality and injustice inside Wallonia, and then the terrorists will no longer target you.
The key is to build a new order in which everyone is so busy with important matters like developing tourism and making investments in high technology that they simply have no time to pursue violence.
Moreover, if you strike at the perpetrators of terrorist attacks, you will simply extend and enlarge the cycle of violence. Your bombs will no doubt injure some innocent children and civilians alongside any terrorist activists you strike, and that will simply enrage the rest of the world and lead the victims to seek revenge.
And if you refuse to negotiate with them, their leaders will be toppled and really violent fanatics will take their place. In that case, you will have lost the window of opportunity to make peace. Begin by declaring a unilateral ceasefire!
Mister Prime Minister, blessed is the peacemaker. All we are saying is give peace a chance. You will be cheered and awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of your statesmanship. Do not allow yourself to be drawn into the gutter of violence. Violence never achieves anything. History is no lesson. History is the dead past. End the cycle of violence. Show restraint. Forgo the juvenile impulse to avenge.
Mister Prime Minister, the proof is in the pudding. My own peace policies have eliminated war and bloodshed and terror from the Middle East. We no longer have terrorists to deal with in the Levant, only potential peace partners. If you follow in my footsteps, you can achieve the same lofty results.
Peacefully yours,

Shimon Peres

Two Jews and an Israeli Arab Stage Belgian Opera Celebrating Mass Murder and Suicide Terrorsm against Jews

You will be happy to hear that two pro-terror Israelis, a Jew and an Arab, will be staging an opera in Belgium that celebrates Palestinian suicide mass murder of Jews.

This is not a spoof.

The opera in question is based on the classic Samson and Delilah opera by Camille Saint-Saens, except that in this case Samson will be dressed as a Palestinian when he commits suicide in order to mass murder the Philistines, who in the opera are ... (you guessed it) ... the Israelis.

This celebration of suicide bombing and genocidal mass murder is to be staged by one Omri Nizsan with his Arab sidekick from the Galilee Amir Nizar Zoabi (probably a Bedouin, based on his name). The Jewish victims of the Philistines will be dressed as Gazan Arabs and identified as such.  Samson is to be represented as the first "shaheed" or mass murderer through suicide terrorism. The producers claim it is all to be a protest against "occupations," including in Palestine, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

The "opera" is to be staged at the Flemish Opera House in Antwerpen, just steps away from the city's large Jewish community. The location is ideal in case any in the audience decide to apply the ideas being communicated in the show and go out to murder a lot of local Jews. The Flemish Opera House is now directed by a self-hating leftist anti-Israel Jew (born in Zurich) named Aviel Cahn. His qualifications for running an opera are that he graduated from law school. (For more, see this : )
Evidently an Israeli flag is to be burned in the show.

You may want to ask Mister Cahn why he is not staging an opera celebrating the rape of Belgium by the Kaiser in World War I, in which Belgium is shown as Chamor son of Shechem, while Germany is Dina. That should amuse the Belgiums even before the fat lady sings.

Haaretz joins the Hezb'Allah

For those who thought that Haaretz, the Palestinian newspaper printed in Hebrew, could not get any more treasonous, its new campaign this week is defending the Hezb'Allah.  The background to this is that the entire Arab world through the Arab League, led by the Saudis, has denounced the Hezb'Allah as a terrorist group, as have all Western countries.

Well, the loyal and patriotic Arab members of the Knesset would have none of that.  They denounced the Saudis and the Arab League for behaving as Israeli puppets for their denunciations of Hezb'Allah.  The MKs have spent recent days saluting and defending the Hezb'Allah.  Since the Hezbies are fighting alongside Asad's gangsters in Syria, the Israeli Arab Knesset Members are declaring jihad not only against Jews and Saudis, but also against Syrian Sunnis.

And that is sufficient reason for Haaretz to pick sides.  As always toeing the line set by Haneen Zoabi and her fellow jihadis, Haaretz ran items this week celebrating Hezb'Allah and proclaiming that it is decidedly NOT a terrorist group:

Hezb'Allah according to Haaretz is just a defensive social welfare group, defending itself from Israeli aggression.

Up the street from me is a patch of road and sidewalks that are full of hundreds of pock marks.  It is where a Hezb'Allah rocket exploded in a Haifa residential area in the war of 2006.  The pocks are from the ball bearings loaded into it to create maximum civilian casualties.

As part of defensive social services of course.

If a dozen such rockets hit the Haaretz editorial offices, there would be peace in the Middle East!

Uri Ram is a professor of sociology at Ben Gurion "University" in occupied Be'er Sheba, and it is he that is leading the jihad of Israeli sociologists against Ariel University. Let's put aside the question of whether Ariel University would actually be better off without a department of sociology, in which case Marxist bashers of Israel would have to seek appointments at Ariel in other departments.

The question remains, who is this Uri Ram??

Uri Ram, a sociologist from Ben Gurion University, thinks Israel's very existence is a crime against humanity. He participates in the Stalin Day commemorations held periodically at Tel Aviv University.

The leftist Zionist David Hirsh fiercely told off Ram in Yediot Ahronot in a piece worth reading in full:

'Uri Ram's mistake is to assume that the boycott campaign is really about Israel. But it's not about Israel, stupid, nor is it about Palestine; it's about Britain. Nationalism can be an insidious temptation and it can narrow our perspective; it has narrowed Ram's perspective. He is not considering the effect or the symbolism of a campaign to exclude a significant proportion of the world's Jewish scholars from European universities; he is not thinking about how the argument to exclude is made in British public life. Ram seems only concerned with fighting an Israeli battle against the Israeli government.'

4.  The posting the censored "Academia" list refused to run:

The "Academia" chat list is a censored restricted chat list run by David Levy-Faur, who has indicated that it is open only to those who oppose the "Kibush" ("occupation"). This past week, the list "debated" the latest atrocity by Anat Matar, who is among the worst radical anti-Israel "academics" working against Israel at Tel Aviv University. Matar may be best remembered for celebrating Arab terrorists who murder Jews and for demanding a world boycott against the Technion. See…/TAU%20-%20TAU%20Donor%20calls%20… and…/Editorial%20-%20Joel%20Amitai%20…. This week she is in Helsinki (with university funds?) to promote BDS terrorism against Israel.

Levy-Faur ran a long series of postings by people claiming that anyone denouncing Matar is a "McCarthyist," but refused to allow the following posting to run:

I would like to know why not a single one of the free-speech mock-absolutists here on the list has spoken out against the banning of the book "Torat Hamelekh" and the prosecution of its authors and of rabbis recommending the book. Selective book-burning is now progressive? Why has not a single absolutist defending Haneen Zonabi and her posse denounced the banning of Lehava from campuses nor the attempts to criminalize Im Tirtzu? Why have the pretend-absolutists had nothing to say about the labeling of Im Tirtzu students as "fascists"? Why not a single word condemning the fascist harassment SLAPP suits filed by leftists, including members of this list, for the purpose of suppressing freedom of speech? Why not a single expression of resentment at the denial to Prof Robert Aumann of an honorary PhD because he holds wrong opinions? Why not a single word about the policy of Ben Gurion University to prevent non-leftists from teaching political science? Why no response to the petitions demanding that author Edwin Black be prohibited from speaking on campuses in Israel, or that Colonel Pnina Sharvit-Baruch be prevented from teaching?

Bike Seat Bonkers

For those who think politics just could not get any more infantile than the US debate over Trump's petzele, just consider the choking hysteria of the media Left in Israel over a satirical Purim-season joke about one of the dumber Labor Party Knesset Members in Israel.
A right-leaning religious commentator on TV (one of the very few) wearing a red wig joked about Stav Shafir riding her bike without the seat, I guess meaning the seat pole stuck upwards into her own petzele. The leftist media in Israel are aghast. I suggest that they all count to 10 if they know how to and take some Preparation H, just in time for Adar Bet.

The leftist media moonbats in Israel and their radical feminizt bosom buddies had a fit when a religious news commentator suggested in a Purim gag that a Labor Party Knesset Member ride her bike without the bike seat.

Want to know what did NOT upset the leftist media moonbats?

It was at the conference on "culture" run by Haaretz this week, in which a flaky leftist "actor" named Ariel Bronz shoved an Israeli flag up his rear end. Bronz has a long track record of proclaiming his disgust and hatred for everything Israeli - see (open only on an empty stomach) - so naturally Haaretz wanted him to star at their cultural congress.

Can it be far off when he will get tenure at Ben Gurion 'University'?

2.  Haaretz, the Palestinian newspaper printed in Hebrew, has a new bogeyman - the "Judaizing" of Jerusalem.
This from the dervishes of paganism and Stalinism.
The journalist who wrote this piece, Uri Blau, was convicted of espionage in the Anat Kamm affair.

3.  Indict the postman for biting the dog! Rare? When have leftists and Arabs ever been indicted for "incitement" in Israel?

Israel's politicized judicial system on display - finally finds some "incitement" worth prosecuting:

Rare Indictment Against Jewish Israeli for Anti-Arab Incitement

A Jewish Israeli is charged with incitement to racism and violence against Arabs on Facebook.
